Shouldn't that be <child>protopolice</child>, though? POLCCX isn't even defined.

@DJ_DZ Oh, and carcols.meta is completely superfluous in your DLC. :) You're pointing to the 0_default_modkit, with LightSettings 1. So, there's no 135_protopolice_modkit to be used, nor the 900 LightSettings ID.

@meimeiriver while making the addon i found my self in a maze of names i only could make the car without the engine and others tuning, and the game crashes every time because i dont have the vehicle.meta of the original prototipo in my game ,so i had to find another way. i searched for a prototipo on the internet , i only found an addon/police version of the car so i had to work with,i dont know what the prototipo guy did with his car.Also the kits in the carcols.meta your talking about i think they are the lights and sirens of the police car.

@meimeiriver i saw them too.and i complitly agree with you but since i was late and others were waiting i decided to upload it as it is.i will try to fix those imperfections i promise.(you look like you are a perfection maniac:p)

@DJ_DZ If you want, I can send you the 'proper' meta files for the prototipo (off which I based my own addon). Thing is, it actually works better with the 0_default_modkit than the original 135_prototipo_modkit. :) With the 135_prototipo_modkit, changing things lilke exhaust will make half your car structure disappear! Or has the wheels clip thru the skirts. So, just using the 0_default_modkit actually works out for the best. :)

In general, though, in carvariations.meta you define which modkit to use. So, if you set it to 0_default_modkit, then there's no need to define a corresponding modkit in carcols.meta (as 0_default_modkit belongs to 'the' vanilla car, of course). Same with LightSettings. You set them to 1, so there's, again, no need to define any corresponding item in carcols.meta.

So, in short, the default modkit and lights actually work out better than to try and mimic the original prototipo tuning. :)

Door animation has no sound, though. Am I going crazy, or do car doors usually make an opening/closing sound?! I'll try and find one.

@meimeiriver tell me if you got any thing am open for any ideas. and if your meta files works better send them to me i willl check em out.

dude this cars awesome, you need to update the images they make this mod look like it was made by a 2 year old when its really an amazing mod with a lot of polish. only complaint is the handling is a little too insane haha
