Information:
This mod adds some Christmas themed content in single player.
Content included:
- Santa hat for Franklin ("p_head_003" component), Michael ("p_head_010" component) and Trevor ("p_head_008" component)
- Christmas tree at Legion Square
- Christmas tree inside the Michael's mansion, Franklin's aunt house and Vinewood Hills mansion, Trevor's trailer and Floyd's apartment
- Lights and a snowman outside the Michael's mansion, Franklin's aunt house and Vinewood Hills mansion and Trevor's trailer
Requirements:
- OpenIV.asi
- "mods" folder
Installation:
- Move the "spchristmas" folder in "mods\update\x64\dlcpacks" and add "<Item>dlcpacks:/spChristmas/</Item>" to the "dlclist.xml".
- Import "downtown.ymt" in "mods\update\update.rpf\x64\levels\gta5\scenario".

@Alex106 I love your content so much bringing back the old versions and cutting versions and even patching items up.
Keep updating it. But are there also other things that you can bring it back that were cut?
@mikeyboy242424 Not really, I converted/restored/recreated as much stuff as I could.
So, i noticed that the props outside of Safehouses disappear when mp maps are enabled, is there any way to fix this?

@Alex106 I have the latest game version 3028 but want to play using 2372. Is it possible for me to transfer the specific files from the mpchristmas3 dlc pack to this dlc pack and if so can you tell me which files please?
@gtavjamal There's nohing to transfer. The christmas trees are from the "mpchristmas2" dlc pack (which is really old) while the snowmen are duplicates of the original ones from "mpchristmas3" (duplicated because I turned them into drawables)

I don't have Christmas tree when in the game, after installing the mod. Any fix?
@PatrickStar Make sure that:
1) The "mpchristmas2" dlc pack is loaded by the game
2) That no other mods are replacing the following files: v_int_24.ytyp, v_int_26.ytyp, v_int_44.ytyp, v_int_57.ytyp and v_int_61.ytyp
@Alex106 Hey buddy, I got some bad news for you, and me included..... I don't know if you're aware of this or not but, for some reason the newer v3095 patch doesn't allow snow on the ground, even if you try to add it via "simple trainer" or "Menyoo"...it returns an error saying the snow on the ground is not compatible with this version of the game.....which means both of your mods, "FrozenV" and "SP Festive Surprise" won't look proper when installed, including my own personal mod, which I uploaded here a couple of years ago, "Winter In Gta5", none will look proper in the game since the ability to add snow to the surface cannot be done in this patch. You can still trigger snow to fall but without snow on the ground it just doesn't look right, I mean, what's the point of "snowmen" and other winter stuff if you can't see snow on the ground, if you know what I mean. For some reason these motherf**rs at Rockstar eliminated the ability to add snow to the surface on this v3095 patch. I tried adding snow to the surface using "simple trainer" and "Menyoo" to no avail, an error comes up saying that "Snow on the ground" is not compatible with the current v3095 version so that totally sucks. Without that feature the game looks as if it's on an early fall season when the snow doesn't stick to the ground.
I had to revert back to the previous v3028, in order to see actual snow on the ground.
For those who like "Winter" mods like these, you're gonna have to revert back to either the v3028 or an earlier version in order to see actual snow on the surface, otherwise it's just gonna look like an early fall type of scenario, where the snow doesn't stick to the ground.
@JAM102970 The memory address/global variable is different on every patch, that's why it gives that error.
The scripts just need to be updated for the latest patch. Rampage Trainer ( https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/rampage-trainer ) is the only trainer updated for the latest patch that has an option to enable it (there's also ENT, but I don't know if it has a snow option)
@Alex106 Scenario Groups users should only install the ymt from the optional folder, right? it's not exactly said so people may install the main folder' ymt 2nd causing it to overwrite the compatibility file. I think it would be good to add something regarding this to the readme.txt
