Everyone knows it, everyone... doesn't really have a strong opinion on it. Undeniably better than the Hawk & little Gardone, but supremely overengineered and more expensive. Even the U.S. Military, the people who managed to turn a troop carrier into a tank with no armor that can't carry troops thought it was too expensive, so they went with the Gardone instead. But the Shrewsbury Duty pistol has found it's niche in random sheriff department armories, and on the hip of strange quasi-liberal gun people who don't want a Vom Feuer or Hawk & Little because they're too mainstream, but aren't quite ready yet to call themselves a hipster and buy something more exotic.
Lorified Sig Sauer P226, model bought from CGTrader and modified to work in-game. This weapon is a replacer for the Combat Pistol only.
Features:
Tints that can be customized.
Working weapon animations and attachments.
Working first person view and functional sights.
Custom magazines.
Known Issues:
Suppressor isn't lined up perfectly with barrel, sue me.
Installation:
Extract the files from the archive and put them in basically any .rpf archive that's from a recent update. Or you can do what I do, which is put modded weapons in an addon dlc, in which case I'd recommend using albo's one. Oh yeah, also, use your mods folder. Come on people, this isn't difficult.
Permissions:
Free for all to use in FiveM, singleplayer, etc.
Free to modify and redistribute privately, provided no money is being made.
Do not convert this model to work with other games.

For anyone interested; You can rename each file here to the combat pistol luxe variant and use both the Vom Feuer and this. (though still not in the same loadout, and don't attach a suppressor as it will be the luxe gold one)

In the first picture I'm trying to get that grey pistol with the flashlight as the normal tint, any suggestions?
@SleepyGaz Yeah, that's the pink tint if I recall correctly, so if you use a trainer to put a flashlight on it and change the tint to pink then it should look like that.
Feel like this would better replace the base pistol. Great mod, though, love the lore-friendly stuff.

There's another small issue. While reloading in first person, weapon's mag is slightly overlapping with it.
@all:
you actually can use this weapon as a heavypistol replacement. Just copy the animations from the combatpistol in weaponanimations.meta over to the heavypistol.
@AllenKennedy can you add a cocked hammer version ?
@Pimp21 Cocked hammer is kinda fucked, cause it is an actual separate part, that should behave properly with animations, and in fact, when you try an empty pistol, it will move a bit, for some reason. I've done it how R* did it. It's their wrong animations that are the issue. I could manually adjust the model so it kind of looks right, but if I did, I'd have to do the same to all my other guns, and I'm lazy. Also if the animations were ever updated, I'd need to revert them, idk
@AllenKennedy Can you do that for just this pistol cause im using it all the time and it will look better that way also i know the animations are fucked but in thirdperson when you're in a shootout you dont check that detail but it will be better that way try that

@Nick4142 a toddler could figure this out themselves, just put the files in any patchday folder with a weapons.rpf
i love this pistol and have shot one in person, Sig P226. i'm sure several people here have too. thank you for making a lore friendly P226 mod.
