After a long time of not being present in modding of GTA IV, I'm back.
My goal is to convert and create top-notch weapons for GTA V now and I'm very specific about my weapon choices and my schedule, but I hope I will have a more free schedule to do this stuff.
I am aware there are several AR-15s on this site but quite frankly I don't care, i love this apsolute legend of a model so much I had to do it. Anyways... here it goes:
Fix notes: -Fixed Magazine position on Carry Handle model
-Fixed area around breach on Carry Handle model making the breach animation now visible.
Features:
-3 Sight variations [EOTech, Carry Handle, ACOG]
-2 magazine variations [Standard, PMAG]
-Custom GEMTEch Silencer
-Low-poly model [what Ammu-Nation uses]
-Fully animated [breach, magpul, trigger]
-High quality model by Twinke.Masta [about 15k polys]
-High quality textures with bump and specular maps
-Perfectly aligned and scaled model [muzzle, carrying, etc.]
-Perfectly aligned sights on every model variation
-Realistic ACOG sight [low illumination, affected by motion blur in fp mode]
-Realistic EOTech sight [reflective on the front panel]
Bugs: Only with in-game scope, but if there are some issues I may update this mod.
Sidenote: 1) The GEMTech suppressor might not fit to other rifles (Advanced carbine),
as it is offsetted and aligned specifically for this model.
2) In-game scope is not supported, although it may work with ACOG (if you need to shoot at night)

so i removed all the attachments to my carbine, and it still looks so weird. it looks like a white gun if you look up, and a green and black one if you look down.
my suppressor has a weird bug where it will work for a split second, then changes back to the old suppressor with a weird texture
This M4A1 [Animated] 2.1 is very good.

does the "animated" in the title mean its an animated artstyle cause it kinda looks cartoonish in game?

Gun works great but is MISSING the auto burst... you can only fire one at a time.. if you hold the trigger it only fires once... we need auto burst
Gun wont fire in third person mode, only first person, did i do something wrong?
i would avoid installing any of these gun mods ..this one kist changes the skin and messes up the suppressor for all assault rifles and no sound effect ... even with a backup i was unable to get it back to the oriiginal.. now i just deleted the carbine rifle from my inventory .. no more gun mods

@Siratey Looking at your previous comments on your profile you're clearly a parody account!
@Siratey But just incase you aren't, you lack so much kindness and lack effort that you somehow put more effort into "messing up the suppressors for all assault rifles", because the suppressor would be specific to the carbine rifle. So the only way the suppressor effects any of the other rifles is if you somehow edited the name of the file and pasted those files into the weapon files.
You realize how absurd that is, right? It would be easier to put the files exactly as they were and that exact scenario with the suppressors wouldn't happen PERIOD because you didn't touch a thing other than dropping and dragging.
And for the skins, that's supposed to happen. The textures are ingrained, if you saw the model through openiv then you'd see that it's not opaque and white like how the default models are. Meaning they can't be recolored.
I will say though, it's incredibly stupid for there to not be a carryhandle-less version. This model is ice-age material, built for cavemen. And I'm allowed to insult it because it's the most popular m4a1 mod and it taunts me because it CLEARLY has a holosight version.
So yes, I'm bashing the mod and giving it a 1 star because I'm a petty rat who wants their GTA IV carbine rifle.
