Hi, I am wanting to start to create mods for the community to enjoy. I was wondering what software, if any, I need and what are the basics of it? Thanks.
Hi @TylerEspo! I have a few ideas of jobs that you could do: Chef, Paparazzi/Photographer, Banker and a Limo Driver. Also in a future update you could do a mode where you have to go to college then you can set up your own business like selling Hot Dogs or your own Private Taxi Company so your competing with Downtown Cabs! Say it costs about $100,000 GTA Dollars to make and set up the business, and if you don't have enough money you can get a loan from the bank! Then your business will expand and then you can hire people to work for you! This mod will be amazing when released. I hope this has given you a few ideas!
Why wont this and other mods work!! I run OpenIV as an administrator and do as the read me says and got to the correct location in OpenIV and go in "Edit Mode". I drag and drop the files from this download into OpenIV, and this should replace the files and the car now should be the car I downloaded. I load up the game hoping to find that the car I just downloaded is there in the game, but no it is not the car I just downloaded, it's the default car that the car I just downloaded should of replaced! Can someone help me or walk me through the process because I have been trying to get a car mod to work for like 5 hours now! Thanks!
