Changes in v0.9.beta2
Description
Handling Mixer (for GTA V)
Handling Mixer is a tool that allows to generate handling.meta files from 2 different handling.meta files, performing a interpolation between values of both. Allows per-property fine tuning.
With this tool you can quickly tune any handling.meta file, without having to manually set values for every vehicle. Happy modding!
Features
Select two different handling.meta files (vanilla and modded for example) and get a mixed handling.meta with full per property user control:
Mix value Factor => Interpotate property
Use A => Take value from A handling
Use B => Take value from B handling
Fixed Value.
Value Offset
Value Multiplier
Value custom formula (supporting math expressions) (Doc link TODO)
Value minimum
Value Maximum
Other features
Contextual help: As you edit value modifiers, a tooltip helps you to know what the modifier does etc. This can be configured.
Load/save Mix setup: As well as generate a handling.meta file, Handling Mixer can also save the mix setup you did for later usage.
F.A.Q.
Q: I just have one handling file, don't want to mix between two, but quickly tune some properties, can this be done?
A: Yes, just set A and B handling to the same file, and then play with offset, multiplier, custom formula, min, max
* HotFix for customFormula related crash (caused by DLL not being distributed in binary release)
* Logger (log file) implemented
* Better exception handling
* Select base handling
Changes in v0.9.beta3
Two new mix types:
UseMin mix type: Take value from those handling that as a lower value for the current property (no interpolation)
UseMax mix type: Take value from those handling that as a higher value for the current property (no interpolation)
Changes in v0.9.beta2
- Fixed an issue with Custom formula validator causing an exception while trying to validate over empty cell
- Fixed an issue where cell with wrong value keeps with warning even after being filled with a valid value.

Great program and coding, don't understand what it does though, what's it written in by the way
I assume both Handling.meta files have to be mostly the same aside from the values. Correct?
For example, I want to mix the Realistic Handling 2.0 mod with the one in RDE 3.0. However, RDE 3.0 contains additional vehicles among other things.
Would it be possible to mix these two files?
@Enosu It will probably work, however, the "base" handling (as by now) will be the A handling, so if you set Realistic Handling 2.0 as A and RDE 3.0 as B, you may lost any data that is B-exclusive. You can set RDE as A handling and try to mix.
Please sent me feedback if you do so!
Thanks
@Enosu In latest version (v0.9.beta4) you can merge Realistic Driving with RDE 3.0, you have to set RDE as base handling (selecting base handling is a new feature). That way you won't lost any RDE specific handling data. I've tried and it works.
We have enough handling editors.
Hey, thanks for this! I was just lamenting to myself at how mind-numbingly painful it is to hand-merge handling.meta files using a diff tool. This seems so much more convenient. I think this might even let me salvage Realistic Driving V on my setup, just by doing a downforce multiplier (couldn't really care less about the ridiculous technicals from the online DLC, so who cares if they have updated handling or not =)).
can`t understand how this works :/ ... readme?
@Rbn3D Your tool is great. However, there are two things that prevent it from doing what we ask on certain vehicles that are in the following two cases: :
1_ when a vehicle has a name in upper case in the first Handling file and in the second file, it is in lower case (Case Sensitive). This can easily be fixed through an editor (Notepad++) so it's not too important and relatively fast to do, then we use your tool.
2_ when in the first Handling file, the vehicles are listed in a precise order but that in the second file, they are listed no entirely in same order. This is much more annoying because it sometimes ignores a very large number of vehicles and it is very long to put the second file in the same order as the first one so that it does the work on all the vehicles.
Could you fix this in particular for the second case?
Thank for your future update if possible.
The ability to use value multipliers and interpolation easilly make this my favourite handling editor. Thank you for putting in the work!
