Quadcopter-Redux
Description
This is a remake of the excellent Quadcopter mod from LeFix. This new version has been completely rewritten using the ScriptHookVDotNet library. The objective of this new version is to bring additional features and improvements.
Quadcopter-Redux is a real drone simulator, mainly for FPV drones, but future flight modes are planned to simulate the behavior of stabilized drones like DJI drones. Using a FPV drone simulator is almost essential to learn how to fly FPV drones safely. It requires some practice and experience before being able to master the behavior of the drone in manual mode (acro).
There are many drone racing simulators available, but they all lack a detailed world which feels alive, the huge GTA map is the ideal playground for a drone simulator offering endless possibilities and a high degree of realism.

All important settings can be found in the mod menu.
- If you delete the Quadcopter.json file, the mod will create a file with default settings
- It is highly recommended to use a real drone radio-controller rather than a gamepad xbox360 for better accuracy and real sensations. The mod can detect usb radiocontrollers and the axes and switches can be binded via the mod menu.

Put all the file in your GTAV game folder

Keybindings
- G : to start flying
- H : to stop flying (can also be triggered via menu to teleport player)
- F9/F10 : Drone Settings menu
- R : Unstuck drone (reset)
- PageUp, PageDown : Camera tilt
- C : Change camera
- F : Change flight mode
- X : Abort mission
- B : Restart last mission
How to fly
- If you use a radiocontroller, enter the menu and enable the directinput option, next assign axes to map your radio with throttle, pitch, yaw, roll.
- By default, the motor arming feature is disabled. To activate this feature you need to go to the 'Drone' menu and activate this function, you will then need to bind a button on your radio control (note that the throttle must be cut in order to arm the motors)

@dakilla Does the phone have similar software that can simulate the radio controller of the drone?
Known issue of FPS drop after 10-15 mn on some systems should be fixed in latest 1.9.1 version.
Any plans to add this to FiveM with multiplayer races? 🤔
One other problem! With the latest 1.9.1 version, every time I spawn I am falling through the ground with the controls stuck at max. I have other mods installed like simple trainer and Naturalvision Evolved. Don't think that makes a difference though as it works fine with 1.9.0 version. @dakilla How to control his up, down, back, left, and right on the keyboard - Press the H key to display how to operate the drone to allow it to fly freely. Please create a video tutorial
@a012345 sorry this is not a mod to play with keyboard. you need to have a drone controller
thanks for this awesome mod ! works great , only bug is when i start the game the character fall down untill auto respawn
Hey. First let me say. As someone who's favorite FPV sim is GTA 5. YOU ARE THE MAN for updating this.
That being said I can't get it to work. I use an older version of GTA 5 reload so that it never has to update. Do you think that's the issue? When I press G to start the mod the screen goe's black and it crashes. For a second a window pops up that says scripthook can't find a file. help!

I'm able to get the OG "Quadcopter" mod to run just fine (albeit without the fantastic additions this mod adds) so I know it's not a problem with scripthook V or anything like that, but G does nothing as does F9/F10. I'd love to see this mod working again!

i have a few suggestions:
Allow the user to teleport with another mod menu when in drone mode (there are some interiors like the NOOSE Data center that you can TP into but only on foot, when you activate drone mode it spawns the drone above ground somewhere, so its not possible to fly in there)
The ability to smash against NPCs, would be funny
EDIT: when i add my custom coordinates to the NOOSE DATA center in the teleports.json and TP there the game crashes.
I can TP there as a story character but not in drone mode.
hello. i have a problem i just downloaded the latest version. but i cant access the drone, then i download the 1.80 version. but when im in the drone menu and after i choose a oprrion, when i hit the enter the drone will fall to the ground i and cant control anything.
