Yay! I'm back! :)
Finally got the will to work on this mod again! :D
Currently trying to add survivors, and what should I say... they work :D
At least, they are spawning in and follow you around once you get close to them, only use the Pistol MK2 for now :/

Welcome to my second mod Los Santos' Darkest Day!
What does it do?
It brings back the dead into the realm of the living to always haunt your dreams... and maybe hunt you... well... they will.
Why another zombie mod?
There can't be enough apocalypse variations inside GTA V.
Everyone does it differently, one uses the Vinewood Zombie 512 times and the other one spawns peds fitting in the area with a population multiplier depending on the zone, and another one adds loot, an inventory system, enemies and other survivors!
This is what's called "variation".
And variation is great imho.
What's so different about your mod?
It's nothing special, really. Just put together within two days of research and work (didn't even take a break. Of course I need to eat and drink! Stupid question.)
Well some things are special, like spawning 5 different vehicles for you to discover and (mis)use!
(Sometimes some vehicles won't spawn at all... I guess this will be fixed with the next update of ScriptHookVDotNet, because I am using quite a different method of spawning vehicles right now...)
Or pressing T on your keyboard to open the drivers' door and kicking away zombies with it while driving (Thanks for that Contagium! (GTA IV mod)) and that you get MKII weapons (just the Pistol atm...).
The other things are for you to discover!

What does it do?

when i play survival mode going far from starting area disable zombie spawning. but this is still awesome mod

A fix would be changing something through OpenIV, I am not sure what but the answer is on gtaforums.com
(More peds attack then, the game locks the amount of peds who are able to attack at once)

Yeah, this is the script crashing at this very moment, I don't know what could cause this behaviour but I will look into this in the future :)
And with the Simple Zombies thing, I would need to create my own Zombie Entity to make it work correctly and I am not that skilled in programming :/

You might have noticed (from my answer to LavtusPudge) that I am working on another project which has nothing to do with GTA or any other game. :)
It's something big and I don't want to miss any oppertunity to work on this. :D
I am very very sorry for letting all of you down like this. :(
But I hope you understand that this is one of the most important things to me. :)
This is no "Good bye." or such a thing, it's just a notice that I will leave GTA Modding behind for a while now... again. :/

@ShadowTV Was gonna add on to my comment last night but didn't because it seems this mod is dead... if not I'd like to add a few suggestions.
There is another zombie script on here that has an animation that if I kill a survivor, the zombies will surround the dead body and "feed" off it. Looks like they're scooping water and splashing in their face but it looks neat. Could you add that in?
2)Do you think it's possible to spawn certain models? There's a few zombie models on this website and I'd like to be able to spawn just those models, maybe there's a way to just spawn those models only?
Also, is there a way that I can start the script without starting with all the MK II weapons? I thought I edited an ini before and was able to stop but now I can't figure it out.

2) Possibly, I'll see if there is a way to add a way to set certain models in the .xml file :)
But I can't promise anything on that :/3) About the MK2 weapons, yes, there will be a way, in the next update :D

I was playing your mod,and i think its such a very good mod (for me).I think you should change the name of the mod to have a keyword "ZOMBIE" because most of zombie mods are use this keyword (and many people can search it easier).

Finally, after two weeks of constantly checking for what could result in crashing I found out what the problem was...
So much for that, broken down vehicles will have to wait I guess :/
At least it's working with a few new features (And 1.5a is pending approval) :D
What's new in the "Holy-Shit-It-Is-Late-...-Too-Late"-Update?
- Menu:
- - NEW SETTINGS:
- - - "Discovering style" : What kind of message you will get when discovering a new place
- - NEW MODES:
- - - "Survival Mode" : You can now feel like a real survivor with stats like hunger and thirst!
- Gameplay:
- - REMOVED:
- - - Merryweather patrols (weren't working as intended (will be re-released in a working state))
- - - Special vehicles
- - ADDED:
- - - Inventory (Press "I" to open)
- - - Looting (Six shops can be looted, marked on your map)
- - - Bunker has a marker on the map
- - - Combo vehicles
- - - After clearing a zone it will be populated by pedestrians and vehicles again (5% pedestrians, 2% driving vehicles, 1% parked vehicles) (Will be a setting in the next release, or hotfix "b")
- - - Discovering zones - You don't know all zones and their "population" instantly from now on
- Fixes:
- - Blood textures were disappearing on Zombies that were close
- - Police forces sometimes mistook you for the enemy and began aiming/shooting at you
- - Army fully functional now (no more bugs with red blips or too many patrols)
