This mod makes the Freight Train take a detour through some of the unused sections of the railway. It will stop at the Mirror Park Rail Yard, the Go Loco building, Cypress Flats Rail Yard and Raven Slaughterhouse. It's essentially a loop around the industrial warehouse/factory area in East Los Santos. Various missing rails and a bridge has been added to make the route coherent.
There are no working crossing gates, so oblivious pedestrians will be minced and cars will be totaled every time a train crosses a street. It's pretty hilarious.

2.0 Extended route through Mirror Park Rail Yard and over the Los Santos Storm Drain. There are no more explicitly impossible curves, so it shouldn't look that silly anymore (they're tight turns, but at least the train no longer clips through walls). Station stops and various small map details have also been added.

@Exoskeleton You planning on updating this mod, or do you wish to leave it alone.
@Think_Tank Won't be updating it for the time being. I'm not that interested in it atm, and I think it serves it's purpose well enough as it is.

@Exoskeleton Then please consider posting that this mod does not work with the current version of GTA V. all the items/track are there, but because it is out of date, the game keeps routing the train via the default route.
@Berethor This mod isn't dependent on the game version, so it should still work fine. Make sure you installed the included trains1.dat (the rail route file) in the correct location.
The first download didn't have that file in it.. i downloaded it again and now i do have said file
@Exoskeleton is there any way can we make the crossing gates work ?cuz im pretty much runnin into cars and people

it would be nice if you also made it go to the quarry like in the big one setup mission. the only problem i see there is the fact that the track ends there and the train would have to go back...
@Exoskeleton Absolutely wonderful mod! It's inspired me to try modding loops at the quarry and in the Mirror Park Railyard. I think I'm onto something that could finally add 'trains on two tracks'. Could I please have your permission to alter your mod for use in mine? Proper credit will be given, of course.
@Transitman Of course. I guess you already know, but you can use codewalker to easily refine this mod's track file for your purpose.
I can't ride the moving trains, I tried to chase them and in the end, pressing F is not working. Even i have the Railroad Engineer mod. I can only ride the trams. Any help?
I think the best idea this person could do is work with Walter and make a folder in the file that connects with overhaul trains. That way we wouldn't have to see the same time all the time.
