This mod implements (without replacements!) a custom engine/exhaust audio from another game(s), which can be loaded onto any vehicle by using "aq48roln72v12" in the vehicles.meta audioNameHash entry for a given car.
Contains AWC files with an NPC/outside version along with custom DAT151 and DAT54 files used for audio configuration.
This mod uses samples that are ported from Forza Motorsport 7, thanks to a newly developed granular porting method.
Extra effort is also spent on non-engine-related parts of the audio, for an immersive experience.
REL code is provided in unencrypted form for those who want to edit it for personal use (such as volume adjustments) or to learn from it, however I do NOT tolerate reuploads without my explicit permission.

I`ve done all steps from the readme but on China_Dazu`s BMW M760i (2017) it will not work. why? After I change the audiohash to "aq48roln72v12" in vehicles.meta there is no sound. The vehicle uses on standard the "oracle2" and with this audiohash the sound normally works but not with aq48roln72v12.
Some ideas?
Hi. Is there any way to make the car start longer, because the sound of the starter is designed for a longer start?
@Anastasov04 nope, its a fixed timing by the game. some cars may take longer to start but thats because they have trouble starting.

@Aquaphobic i tried it now but this don`t work too. No sound on version 1.0/1.0b. I don`t know why...
I´m using Version 2824 (the latest version from steam). The older sound mods from you are working. I tried some older mods but the newer ones aren`t working. Legacy_DMC`s sound mods are working too. This is curious. It would be great if you can figure out this problem.

for reference i use v2372 to guarantee that all the mods i want to use work

Hi, as I updated my game files today (by steam automatically), my game crashed several times with this mod and the Bentley W12 one. I tested several times that my game could function with latest version of scrtipthook v without those mods, but it crashed after the installation, as well as I removed the mods' files from my game folder.
That is to say, my game still crashes after your mods are installed and removed (although I did not recover my edited vehicle mods with the edited autonamedash).
I wonder if you know what is all about, because I have already removed any other sound mods by anyone other than yours. I will wait for several days to see is there anything gets beeter.

Hey here's my update: other sound mods may carsh the game, I seem to fix it by deleting several mods including one Ghost mod with the audiodashname changed to yours. Finally able to run the game now. And I really look forward to more Mercedes engine sounds like the W223 Maybach's V12 and 3.0 L6 in S500/GLE450 XD
