Recommended to use on: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ford_EcoBoost_engine
== Description ==
This mod implements (without replacements!) a custom engine/exhaust audio from another game(s), which can be loaded onto any vehicle by using "ecoboostv6" in the vehicles.meta audioNameHash entry for a given car.
Contains AWC files with an NPC/outside version along with custom DAT151 and DAT54 files used for audio configuration.
This mod uses samples that are ported from Need for Speed: Heat, Forza Motorsport 7 and Forza Horizon 5 thanks to a newly developed granular porting method.
Extra effort is also spent on non-engine-related parts of the audio, for an immersive experience.
AWC/REL code is open-source and unencrypted for those who want to edit it for personal use (such as volume adjustments) or to learn from it, however I do NOT tolerate reuploads without my explicit permission.
== Installation ==
Installation instructions and additional info are in the readme.txt.

would u be able to do a hemi? This site has all supercharged and cammed, can u just pload a stock 5.7 sound like this? Or even the chevy 5.3? Your uploads are pretty solid and reliable, especially when theyre fivem ready
is there a way to change the volume of the sound? it's way louder than anything else on the street
Thanks for the upload and for making it actually hearable. Default engine sounds are too quiet.
Any way to make mutiple duplicates the mod in OpenIV, i have Tauruses using mutiple different siren types ingame.
How would I do this client side for FiveM?
is this recommended with the ford interceptor
@Aquaphobic i would like to report a lil finding i finding i found by accident, i tried redownloading this mod after an issue arouse with some police cars using it, it seems that the moment any car using it, touches a section of the waterbed of the lost santos cannals (behind mrpd for example), the vehicle in question will crash the user and anyone else around it
meaning, this only happens along the cannal section where you can drive from one side, through the small water floor, and to the other side, i also did this all over the city touching water, and it isnt a water issue. its, odd to say the less only that section breaks it.
@DinopopsxD ive heard of this before but never really found the core issue, it has never happened since on newer mods though.
@Rens_23 yes
@Aquaphobic yeah its an odd one, unfortunatley i had to remove it.
i have a clunking engine noise when i use first person view, even if the vehicle is not damaged, you know how to fix that bug ?
how can we edit this one to work with police car i mean to make blip siren work
I just added this to my fivem rp
@Aquaphobic In the readme within this mod, it says that there is a way to use this engine sound with radio function. I did the steps outlined (changed the audionamehash to ecoboostv6civ), and I get no sound at all (the default version works, just with no radio). I would really like to use this mod while also having a working radio. Can you help me with this issue? Thanks. Also, there are no uninstall instructions. I'm pretty sure I installed via Open IV's package installer (it's been a while since I installed it). How exactly do I go about uninstalling, if I need to?
@Aquaphobic
edit: There is no ecoboostv6civ contained within this package. I don't know if you made a change since your initial release. But that folder/file does not exist anywhere within the contents of your upload
@jp615 because it doesn't need a separate folder. however this mod is old and was made before we made some changes to the code to prevent certain conflicts that seem to kill some sound mods. so ig for now consider it defunct
@jp615 it's literally a single DLC that was installed. uninstalling it is as simple as deleting its entry in dlclist.xml if you've ever disabled a DLC before.
@Aquaphobic sorry I just got back into playing this game and modding after well over a year of taking a break from it. I forgot almost everything I learned about the modding aspect. But I'm picking it back up slowly. I actually just FINALLY figured out how to edit the radio functionality!! I got it working!!! By the way, did you ever create a single mod for all your engine sounds? If I remember correctly, many of your mods conflicted with each other and you said you might create one dlc package for all the sounds. Just thought I would ask.
@jp615 it is not reasonable for me to create one whole dlc nowadays due to the monthly distribution of standalone sound mods, and i don't want to double my upload work. people can DIY this anyways if they know anything about how DLCs work and handle audio.
i cant play the radio
