This mod will add the Fairchile C-119 Flying Boxcar to GTA5! The plane has working props, working congtrol yolk, working lit guages, running lights, working flaps, gears and wheels.
This plane can transport cars/bikes/peds but they may get banged around in there lol.
Cargo doors are back left/right passenger doors and can be opened with any trainer or script that has car controls. I use Simple trainer.
Plane has working custom collisions and all exhaust/fire/damage effects.
Spawn with something like simple trainer. Model name is c119.
This plane has does NOT livery. This is because I wanted to make the metallic version of the plane and livery support does not work with this model material sorry.
As always my models are NOT locked.
You can use it in your mods, videos, vehicle packs, etc, just PLEASE let me know.
KNOWN ISSUES:
The entry/exit animation is not correct for the plane. I am sure this can be fixed, but I am still learning how to write the custom entry information that the plane would need (custom vehiclelayouts.meta). If you know how to do this and can teach me, please let me know, it will help make future planes from me much better.
INSTALLATION:
Open the OpenIV program, click TOOLS and slect Package Installer.
Select the C119 Boxcar OIV and just follow the OpenIV install process.
I suggest installing to MODS FOLDER.
