Time for more trims as the 2024 Nissan Altima 2.5 SL is finally here.
The 2024 Nissan Altima is Nissan's 6th generation of their midsize sedan. This is the top SL trim with the 2.5L 4-Cylinder
The design of this sedan is very competent and is a good vehicle for most peoples needs with some premium touches added for the SL trim.
New and redesigned for 2019, the 2023 has the new Nissan V motion grille, updated wheel and color options and a large infotainment screen on the dash.
The Altima SL here, is represented by a 2.5L Variable Compression Turbocharged 4-Cylinder with 188 HP and 180 lb. Ft of torque.
This car is FWD or AWD and comes with a xTronic CVT Transmission.
The Altima SL 2.5 will do 0-60 mph in 6.8-7.6 seconds.
This model has the following features.
-Actual interior
-All new model made from scratch
-Factory Exterior and Interior Colors
-Correct Lighting
-Correct Scale
-Realistic Handling and acceleration
-Engine
-Crisp lighting
-AWD badge as extra
Future Updates for this mod:
-Better Carpet Textures
Add on version is only available for now. to use add on drag "24altimasl" folder to mods/update/x64/dlcpacks
Then Go to mods/update/update.rpf/common/data and right click on dlclist.xml and edit and add these two following lines
dlcpacks:/24altimasl/

@Truckertae_1 only chevrolet models i have planned are the 2025 Traverse RS, 2025 Equinox RS and the 2025 Trax Activ. i think Raz3r did that silverado HD though.

I have an issue with these three Altima's though, they accelerate very poorly, and all identically, with what seems like one long CVT gear.
Is this intentional? As it negates using these for anything but NPC's.
@industrial6 the car has a cvt in real life so yes its intentional.
@industrial6 i know some of them imitate gears but the programing doesnt allow it in this game but my mods are to provide as much as a realistic driving experience as possible. i always am trying to improve so i will look into them and see if i can tweak them a little more
@jrem7315 Right on! I personally detest CVT's, but having aggressively driven a few before: when you go WOT(floor it) the CVT begins to act like traditional transmission and imitates/adapts gear changes like a non-cvt. When you laziliy drive them they putter along with that one elastic gear.
These cars can eventually get up to speed, but the acceleration of the CVT's is what needs help. Off the line they bog like they are running rich or barely running at all :)
