I've been trying to make this work for a while. I've now got it to work!
You have to create a folder called /scripts in your main game folder and drop the .dll and .ini file into it.
However, I did note that it doesn't seem to work in sync with a mic. It literally just makes the character do a speech animation (on button press), which isn't quite what I was wanting, but I can live with it.
@elsewhat well, I've tried it twice and had the same issue each time. The problem is that I also have to setup a load of props each time. I opted to record the guitar playing separately for close-up shots and I'll try blurring with dof for background shots.
@elsewhat I'm having an issue, dunno if you can help. I have a character playing guitar from Ambiance mod animation, along with Trevor 'singing', but when recorded I find that the guitar guy is duplicated, like a second version (ghost) of himself playing in the same spot. I've used the ambiance guitar playing animation with a single character, without problem, so wondering if you know a reason why your mod might cause an issue?
This trainer is excellent. Any idea if yoiu can get the drum kit and guitars out of Tequila La La, as spawnable objects? Even better still, can someone make the guitars a usable replacement for the acoustic?

Hey @MAFINS, is there anyway you can alter the guitar playing animation so that it can use an electric guitar instead of acoustic?
@Lt_Nucky @elsewhat - Issue resolved. The ghosts only seem to be in the clip viewer. They're not there when in the actual editor :D

@jedijosh920 That's cool, cheers. Are you able to make characters sit on things as well? So far, I can only get them to sit in the air lol.
