There is certain times a vehicle can still explode for example crushing in a thin tunnel with a train or smashing a vehicle against the wall with the truck seen in the video, or with a helicopter shooting the rotors actually counts as destroying the vehicle so sometimes this can cause an explosion when it hits the ground although not everytime, if however you shoot the pilot the helicopter should not explode.
You can prevent this slightly with the settings but it may have unintended consequences for the rest of the mod.
The logic is mainly based off of timing, for example a vehicle needs to be in free fall for a few seconds before it the logic to prevent fall damage explosions actually kicks in, you will have access to most of these settings in the ini with a brief description of what each one does and how it could effect you but you will need to play around with it a little to find your preference or leave it as default for how it is now.
I am just bug testing currently and then I hope to release it today/tomorrow.
@Daddynnoob Right so I am still testing, I have learned that deformation is particularly more visible with the vanilla cars that are not DLC and do not have armour and with the current settings I am using I have managed to explode the car in a crash once however I'm not entirely sure how it happened so until I can replicate it I cant yet patch that out.
But here is a sneak peek of what to expect ;)

For those of you familiar with my previous modding work on GTA and other titles, you already know how much I value your feedback, support, and ideas. Every mod I create is essentially a community project, shaped and refined by your invaluable input. Rest assured, this community-driven approach is here to stay.
If you have any suggestions or feedback—big or small—please don't hesitate to share. I'll give it my all to make your ideas a reality, within the realms of possibility. Keep in mind that some things may not be feasible or may require an extensive amount of work. As a single parent juggling various responsibilities, my time is limited, but modding is a passion of mine and I invest as much free time as I can into it.
So thank you, once again, for your ongoing support and constructive suggestions. It's your engagement that truly brings these mods to life.

Hey @daniago Thank you for for your support and suggestions, this is something I am currently working on and over time I hope to be able to implement these features as options for the user, as for the ini this is 100% something I will be adding in shortly I am just finishing off a few things before I give users the option to customise to their own preference.
Hey @De_moon_Rad Thank you for your continued support and suggestions through out both of my current released mods as well as your help testing in discord.
This is something I will be adding into a ini file very shortly I am just finishing off a few things before I provide a ini for people to customise to their own preference.
Hey @560877, preventing the petrol tank from exploding when being shot from what I can tell is not possible with SHVDN but it is something I am still trying to figure out.
If it is possible or I find out a workaround I will 100% add it in as a option for users to enable/disable.
Hey @Daddynnoob,
Thank you for your support and suggestions, vehicle damage from height is a difficult one to implement, I already have it working partially but when I put them together it messes it up but it is something I am currently working on.
As soon as I have it working I will definitely implement it in as a option in a ini for everybody.
@Daddynnoob I got you bro ;)
