Private Contractors

Merryweather Homeland Security
A Classified Special Task Force deployed by Don Percival, CEO of Merryweather. Taking up a contract assigned by the US Government, their objective is to neutralize, secure, and protect any sectors on US territory. Intervening law enforcement is authorized to be shot on sight. All rules of engagement are terminated.

Blackwater Corp.
Originally a small group of Ex NOoSE and US Special Forces, Blackwater Corp. is now a private military cooperation secretly operating on US grounds. The corporation believes that liberty is not a right, and its objective is to seize and control sectors with an iron fist to restore order.

Unconventional Military/Terrorist Forces

San Andreas Army of Liberation
Originally a group of political descendants, the insurgents are growing at an alarming rate as the organization is now classified as a domestic terrorist threat by the F.I.B. as they continue to spread their influence. Backed widely from numerous foreign powers, the insurgents continue to be on-pair to conventional military forces.

Terror Cell Operatives
F.I.B. Intelligence has confirmed Intel on a new threat unlike anything seen before. This organization is able to carry out attacks anywhere in San Andreas and are indiscriminate of age, religion and nationality. Terror Sleeper Cell Agents have infiltrated Los Santos with no known origins, motives or goals. they are the very definition of the unknown.

People's Resistance Fighters
For the people, by the people, this unconventional force of militants was raised out necessity to take up arms against the New Order brought upon from Blackwater Corp. Funded mainly by drug trafficking and arms dealing, they cause chaos where ever they go.

Criminal Organizations

Los Santos Syndicate
A very high-class and powerful mafia that believes in respect and honour with a specific standard to not affiliate themselves with the law abiding public unless intervened to do so. Typically using a wide variety of illegal activity to fund themselves.

Murrieta Mercs
The Murrieta Mercs are a collective of illegal mercenaries that are hired to carry out jobs ranging from assassination, to escorts, as well as retrieving or recovering sensitive data.

4.3b Hotfix
- Fixed Blackwater Corp. as your only playable faction, even though you chosen another faction to play as.
- Fixed maximum factions can be at once.

4.3 Update
- Overhauled weapon selection across the board for each faction.
- Overhauled vehicles across the board for each faction.
- Faction's statistics have been rebalanced to be less punishing/more rewarding, it is now only slight buffs, or nerfs to their armour and accuracy. This is to push for more fair gameplay.
- Hostiles spawn further away.

4.2 Update
+ Added Carbine Rifle to "Blackwater Corp."
+ Added Gusenburg to "Los Santos Syndicate."
- Removed general turf bonus to "People's Resistance Fighters."
- Slightly readjusted minimum and maximum ambient spawn distance.
- Readjusted some balancing issues relating to accuracy and armour between factions.
+ Added an optional configuration called Exile Edition designed to considerably increase the difficulty of entering hostile sectors. You can now choose between Original and Exile Edition.

4.1 Bugfix
+ Added new upgrade tendency characteristics to Factions. Militaristic and criminal factions will now prefer to upgrade their sectors, while unconventional or terrorist factions will prefer to expand and conquer.
+ Brought back reasonably priced upgrades for Accuracy, Health and Armor.
- Expanded Warzone radius of 450ft to 600ft.
- Fixed a bug where players and AI were earning money from sectors too fast. (Interval of 2.4 minutes.) This caused the AI to turf rush.

4.0b Hotfix
- Removed experimental Wandering Driving Style causing AI to crash into walls.

4.0 Update
Factions Identification.
- Hired Guns to Murrieta Mercs.
- S.A.A.L. to San Andreas Army of Liberation.
- S.P.S.A. Spec Ops to Blackwater Corp.
- Black ops to Merryweather Homeland Security.
- B.C.S.O. Militia to People's Resistance Fighters.
Faction Visual Appearance
+ Readded Terror Cell Assault Operators to the faction "Terror Cell Operators."
+ Overhauled apparels of People's Resistance Fighters to look more militaristic.
+ Overhauled apparels of San Andreas Army of Liberation to look more heavily armoured.
+ Added a variety of new apparels to the Murrieta Mercs.
- Changed Blackwater Corp. apparel to a persistent darker uniform.
- Combined Bio Terrorist peds with the faction "Terror Cell Operators."
- Fixed all face clippings in every faction.
- Overhauled vehicles throughout the board.

- Decreased spawn distance from hostiles, making the player exiled from hostile sectors.
- Decreased time to ambient spawn.
- Removed all APC'S from certain factions.
- Removed all explosive weaponry from faction loadouts.
- Increased income multipliers for buying more sectors.
- Increased base and max income for securing sectors.
- Decreased cost to buy or attack hostile sectors.
- Made hostile spawn areas longer to improve flow of gameplay. To prevent spawn killing which kills immersion, the threshold for spawn areas to change when too many hostiles are killed has been reduced.

- Removed an additional DLC folder that was required in 3.0 for ease of installation.
- Updated Screenshots.

3.0 Update.
- Changed almost every ped to be more distinct to their faction.
- Vehicles are now much more distinct in each faction.
- Changed some names for each faction. Should still be very similar to the original names.
- Weapons have been overhauled throughout each faction. From Soviet-era equipment to state of the art western technologies depending on the wealth of each faction.
- Starting $ is now changed, each faction has a different starting amount of $ depending on their wealth.
- Starting sectors have changed.
- Earning revenue from Zones is now dynamic. As you buy more zones, it multiplies rapidly.
+ Readded profits from taking over Enemy Zones.
- Frequency of earning money from zones increased from around 12 minutes to 24 minutes.
+ Readded Traffic Volumes and Pedestrians during wars for more chaotic fun.

2.3c Hotfix
- Fixed an unknown error that resets parts of the config, causing a number of issues.

2.3b Hotfix
- Fixed AI not spawning properly ambiently.

2.3 Bugfix
- Changed and refined Hired Guns peds to look uniformed.
- Fixed AI not spawning properly in wars.

2.2 Bugfix
+ Added more variety to the Faction "Guns Hired".
+ Added back missing MK2 weapons into weapon buyables. As well as the railgun.
- Fixed Insurgents not attacking due to a misconfigured config (Player owned 2 organizations).
- Increased Vehicle Backup and Parachute Backup cool down times to prevent spamming.

2.1b Hotfix
- Fixed all files in the Black Ops folder to take effect for update 2.1. They are now patched and ready to go.

- Increased the amount of vehicles spawning in wars.
- Fixed Insurgents masks clipping.
- Fixed getting an instant star when fighting the Los Santos Syndicate by
removing high security peds.
- Organizations will now start with 25000 instead of 35000. This will help slow
down the turf rushes in the early game.

- Factions will now start with 35000 instead of 50000. This will help slow down turf rushes in the early stages of the game.
- Decreased Hired Guns accuracy by 2%.
- Decreased ambient spawn maximum peds from 24 to 20
- Increased AI Profits.

1.1 Update
- Increased distance of vehicle and ped ambient spawning
- Increased base time ambient spawning from 12 to 16 seconds.
- Increased ambient spawn amount from 16 to 24 peds..
- Fixed key for gang menu. Default key now works. (B)
