The Cinematic Intro
A simple cinematic intro script for GTA V.
When the game loads, the screen fades to black and displays a single quote before fading back into gameplay. Designed to hide early prop pop-in and give your game a cleaner, more polished start.
Features
Fullscreen black intro screen
Single quote + subtext display
Smooth fade-out
Smart timing (waits until player finishes spawning/teleporting)
Fully configurable via .ini
Lightweight and standalone
Installation
Install ScriptHookV and ScriptHookVDotNet 2
Copy files:
CinematicIntro.dll → Grand Theft Auto V\scripts\
CinematicIntro.ini → Grand Theft Auto V\scripts\
Configuration
Edit: scripts\CinematicIntro.ini
Example:
[Settings]
Enabled=true
DurationMs=20000
FadeOutMs=1500
StableTimeBeforeStartMs=2500
WarpDistanceThreshold=120.0
MainText=Insert your custom text here
Subtext=-insert custom name here
Notes
Plays once on game load
Restart or reload scripts after editing the .ini
Increase StableTimeBeforeStartMs if your setup uses heavy teleporting
