Little Jacob is in LS and he is ready to sell you some weapons. You can buy any DLC weapon from him, and even normal weapons too if you don't feel like going to ammunation.

Not only you can buy weapons, you can apply all the modifications available in the game, tints, scopes, camos, and more!

Also, this mod makes sure you don't lose any of the DLC weapons you bought by keeping your loadout data in a savefile made by the script. So you can close the game and not worry about losing your weapons!

About non main character peds
Normally, these peds don't have money therefore you can't buy stuff. You can use a mod like Character Swap to be able to use money from the main characters while using your custom ped, allowing you to buy stuff from Jacob.

Gear menu
The old armor option was moved here, you can also find night and thermal vision googles, these are only available for the MP Female and MP Male characters. Once you equip one of these helmets, you can toggle the night/thermal vision by pressing the toggle key (G or L3 by default)


Recommended mods

Extract the .rar file and place the contents in your scripts folder

  • Open the shop menu: E or DPad Left
  • Toggle goggles: G or L3

How to start
Open your phone and search for Little Jacob in your phone contacts, he is probably at the bottom of the list. After you call him he will show up in the map with a green letter L icon.

When you arrive at Jacob's just approach his car's trunk and you should see a help text indicating you to press a key to start browsing the store.

Known Issues
  • The drum clip for the compact rifle doesn't work
  • According to @Nightcralwer913 's comments, if you're using LSPDFR, the shop menu won't show up once you enter Jacob's inventory

Version 2.3.1
  • Night/Thermal vision is turned off automatically when the player dies
  • The player can no longer toggle Night/Thermal vision while aiming
  • Created a second save file to save helmet purchase status (located at scripts/LittleJacobMod/Gear), now the player only has to pay for the helmets once in each MP Character. This will allow the player to equip the helmet again for free, but any custom colors have to be bought again.

  • Menu persistence. When you select a weapon you already customized, all the menu options will start at the position of your current setup

  • Fixed script crash when gaining a wanted level after calling Jacob

  • Fixed melee weapons not saving
  • Now the camera focuses the trunk of Jacob's car. A weapon object of the current selected weapon will spawn there so you can clearly see in real time the installed modifications. Kinda like it's done in ammu-nation.

  • The script keeps track of all the weapons now, not only "online" weapons like before. This allows the player to keep "online modifications" in SP weapons, like the box magazine for the special carbine

  • Fixed incorrect ammo loading in some cases
  • Now the script detects if the player dropped a weapon from the inventory or added a weapon to the inventory through any other means that's not Jacob, like ammunation, and updates the loadout savefile

  • The script will now update the script savefiles when the game performs an autosave
  • Autosave is triggered when the player is switching characters
  • The script now keeps track of the current ammo of the stored weapons and updates the savefile with the new ammo value whenever an autosave is triggered (shoutout to thalilmythos for giving me the idea)
