Introduction:
This is a simple script that bring the 'IV Style cop arrest' back in game.
If the suspect is unarmed, the cop will try to approach and aim at him to make him surrender. A police car will then arrive and take the suspect away.
Version 1.1:
-Updated arrest progress (Go to watch the demo video)
Installation:
Select one of the version (1.0 / 1.1) that you like, then copy Cop_Arrest.dll into "scripts" folder.
*Latest version of Script Hook V .NET is required

how use
@Adrian Geganter if a cop sees a pedestrian committing a crime without using a weapon, the cop will try to arrest him with this mod
@HKCSSER Hey is it possible to make the cop do something else when there are more than one person committing a crime? when two people are fighting in the street, the cop only tries to arrest one of them. and the other one keeps punching the other guy. lol

Hey @HKCSSER , if you're willing to release the source code, I'd love to give a crack at trying to revive this mod, and see if I could add some features. I'm not promising anything by any means, as I'm just learning to code, but I would love to try.
@HKCSSER I found a bug with this script.
When you enter a vehicle that is a warp in vehicle, you will get kicked out while the engine starts up. You need to keep spamming the button till the engine is fully going to use the vehicle.
this mod have just saved this game, thank you very much. in 1.1 version if the driver cop gets of his car and open the door for the suspect if would've been %100 the best mod ever. keep it up
Cool mod! Now I can frame people by provoking them and then getting them arrested. :P
Really love this mod, that violent nps gets arrested should have been there from the start. Player also have right to protection :)

does it work with RDE?
Could you make it more similar to the Officer Lewis arrest random event? Where he chases the suspects and arrests him on the ground and grabs his radio and calls for backup where then the police officers get out and push him in the vehicle and drive away.
Sometimes it works but sometimes not it shows error unhandled exception.
@HKCSSER Please make it so that they can get into the nearest cop car instead of calling for backup. It takes way too long to see the whole thing and the cops don't even get into their original car. Also the arrested NPC sometimes bug out and runs away even with cuffs on. They should stay there the whole time or run and get into an on foot chase (idea) please make that a possibility and this would be one of the most useful mods out there!

Hello my friends. Does this mod still work after the new patch or is it abandoned
Does not work with police chases, cops will still shoot at a fleeing suspect. This needs to be applicable in places other than fist fights. Not truly IV style.
