Yeah no I get all that man, I know how to add them and such. What I'm saying is that lets just say you have a jumper, and you rename the shirt files and change a jumper for a shirt, will there be any issues ?

@ZLA I see you've gotten quite good at this! I am quite a novice with textures but I was attempting to change the black t shirt last night in Photoshop and the converted .ytd crashes my game when I try and equip it :/. Did I not properly export the .dds file to that .ytd converer app? If so in that Nvidia .dds exporter thing, do you perhaps have some proper settings you could share, I would love to make custom shirts like you do!

In OpenIV, you can the export textures to PNG, DDS, etc. I recommend exporting as PNG so you can edit it directly. After editing, convert the PNG to DDS by using Photoshop/Image converters. This time, you will need Texture Toolkit from GTAForums to replace textures in the ytd file. Finally, use the OpenIV to import your edited file and replace the old files.

3. Use OpenIV to replace them (Enable edit mode) (They should be matched ex. uppr_diff_004_j_uni.ytd to uppr_diff_004_j_uni.ytd)

Every time I replace the files through OpenIV and start the game it starts downloading an update and renew the affected .rpf files. What's wrong?
