Hey!
The only changes are slightly updated installation instruction.
Where is the OIV for (Steam) Legacy my friend?
@thriller The difference in graphics is less than for the legacy version unfortunately.
Modyfying update.rpf in /mods folder doesn't work for me at all. So i modified those in /update folder with codewalker and encrypt it with archivefix tool. VisualV starts with this method but randomly crashes with "ERR_GFX_STATE". Before that i tried also chromatix and RealismV and game works them perfectly fine.
@Yunyun i have that its just reshade.fx and heathaze are in red
@sam2015 sorry for replying so late. The same thing happened to every add-on vehicle I've installed except this one car: https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/imponte-arbiter-x-add-on-tuning-liveries
Every other addon car installs then crashes as I'm loading into single-player. Pretty sure I installed them the same way too so I can only guess that some ydr, ytd, etc convert better than others? But I'm not sure, or skilled enough to truly figure it out how or why.
@Slash_Alex Hey thanks! It works and now GTA V looks better than ever! Well done to @_CP_ and @robi29
its working now thx
You should always include uninstall.oiv in your mods or at least an uninstallation tutorial. Basically required.
i have an issue whit glow alround the buildings where can i sent you an image so i can show you?
https://youtu.be/sXvd9FK6TCk
@Stijn1990
1)the light stuff under the bridge is caused because the game does not support dynamic headlight shadows for npc's. In vanilla game only the player character can and does use dynamic shadows (if you're using ultra settings on legacy version). For example: you drive a car at night and headlight shadows from you're car will be visible on npc's, objects, cars etc. However, npc's in vanilla game do not use or have this option. This mod - fixes this to some degree but It's not perfect aka those lights under the bridge.
2) This glow around the buildings is a natural phenomena aka it does happen in real life and It's called: light pollution. Some people dislike this effect and you can find mods that disable it. But in my opinion - the game looks super flat without it. Light pollution adds volume, density to the scene. Maybe, this effect is too intense to some but I think rockstar made this on purpose. Try driving to sandy shores and look at it from from the direction of the airfield, around 22:00/23:00 and you'll see light pullution at full swing.
Please update to the Legacy version.
can you post a video where you do the file insertion and configuration for enhanced?
@Adas8812 so you dont see nothing wrong so i installed all like it must be?
@Stijn1990 no I do not. Maybe someone knows how to fix the npc headlights being visible under the bridge
okey thx for your mod great work for now
The color, light and shadow are great, but when the day is clear and the moon is absent at night, how to deal with it
@iheming BEFORE DOING THIS MAKE BACKUP OF THIS FILE time.xml it's in 》mods/update.rpf/common/data/levels/gta5
Had a similar issue long time ago and all I did was to just delete that time.xml file.
Try doing the same but MAKE A BACKUP (using OpenIV when you've located that file press right mouse button on it and pick "Extract" ).
If it doesn't work, or the game crashes, can't start or whatever other issue happens you can just restore that BACKED UP FILE from where it was deleted.
@Adas8812 Thank you for your answer. I'll give it a try.
