I have re-added many unused police assets and made officers more proficient in combat.
I'll list off some features here.
Vanilla Cops Remastered

Changelog:
-Retextured police badge
-Included beta LSPD officers
-Remodeled sheriff's vest
-Changed Sheriff cruiser texture
-Changed Sheriff SUV texture
-Added Sheriff maverick
-Loadout tweaks
-Combat behaviour tweaks
-Dispatch tuning tweaks
-Crimeinformation tweaks
-Cops can now bust you at up to 2 stars
Requirements:
OpenIV
Heap Adjuster
Installation:
-Install the .OIV package using openIV
-Drag and drop Heap Adjuster into the main GTA V directory.
Recommended mods:
-Don't Writhe (https://www.gta5-mods.com/scripts/don-t-writhe) will stop peds from writhing and dying, extending gunfights
-PEV: DT SWAT Interior Fix (https://www.gta5-mods.com/misc/project-enhancement-v-dt_swat-interior-fix) stops SWAT peds from despawning and glitching out when the player enters a building.
Community resource credits:
Yard1 for the Sheriff Maverick (https://www.gta5-mods.com/users/Yard1/files/2) which I retextured to fit my LSSD colorscheme.
Yard1 for LSPD beta cops (https://www.gta5-mods.com/player/beta-lspd-cop-ped-model) which I slightly retextured and added as a seperate ped, so they can spawn alongside vanilla cops.
x3mgamer for the Sheriff Black and white cruiser (https://www.gta5-mods.com/vehicles/simple-black-and-white-sheriff-stanier) which I also retextured to fit my colorscheme.
Cpast for Combat tweaks which allows me to tamper more with the dispatch and combattasks files.

@anon23623 Well you'd add Dispatch.meta But since dispatch meta has extra vehicles, it wouldn't properly work because you don't have combats_tweaks.
Go into dispatch.meta with edit mode using OpenIV and then add this under police:
<PedModels>
<Ped>S_M_Y_Cop_01</Ped>
<Ped>S_F_Y_Cop_01</Ped>
</PedModels>
and<PedModels>
<Ped>S_M_Y_Sheriff_01</Ped>
<Ped>S_F_Y_Sheriff_01</Ped>
</PedModels>for sheriff

@anon23623 Basically they have more combat flags aka they can do more stuff in combat.
Also no, you cannot change it so male and female cops spawn in one car. Rockstar is rockstar and they made it so it's not possible :D

This is a pretty good mod, I had a blast last night with some shootouts lol. The army base though. I had unlimited health at fort zancudo and the tanks shot you so much it was like pinball lol. Couldn't get 2 feet without flying through the air. Would there by chance be a way to tone down the tank response at the army base?27 augusti 2022 -

So If I removed the tanks from popgroups.ymt the army wont be driving dozens of them at a time at the base? I think vehiclemodelsets.meta is for parked vehicles which is fine for parked tanks. I just want to tone down the tanks driving around in Zancudo lol. Thanks for the input, ill try out removing the tank from popgroups first.17 september 2022 -

I actually just finished trying this and it worked. I removed the tanks from popgroups but left the ones in vehiclemodelsets. Now there is just a tank or two instead of 30. Its actually possible to mess around in Zancudo now lol. Thanks for the help! :)18 september 2022 -
