I always thought that Mt. Chiliad was just an empty landmass and needed at least a small town with a windy road to reach its summit, so I just created it.
DNX Chiliad Town features a 5-mins long drive mountain road, that reaches a small town with some streets, plazas and great observation spots.
I got inspired from the mountain roads and small mountain towns near my city.
Have fun drifting on every corner, or just enjoy a pleasant ride with a beautiful view!
🌟Features:
- NEW TOWN - Chiliad Town is a small town located almost at the top of Mt. Chiliad
- NEW ROAD - Grapeseed-Chiliad road is the road that reaches Chiliad Town and the top of Mt. Chiliad, from Grapeseed
- TRAFFIC - cars drives on both the road and the town
- GREAT VIEWS - many beatiful views from various spots
- MLO INTERIORS - Sheriff office, 24-7 minimarket and the small bar on the main plaza have their own interiors! Even the small tunnel has an MLO.
🧰REQUIREMENTS:
- OpenIV or Codewalker RPF Explorer
- A custom gameconfig - I use this one
⚙HOW TO INSTALL:
- Put dnxchiliadtown folder here: \mods\update\x64\dlcpacks
- Open dlclist.xml and add dlcpacks:/dnxchiliadtown/ after the last line and save

📑CHANGELOG:

-Fixed some missing collisions
-Fixed some LODs
-Removed the landmass and trees that on the road from Chiliad Town to Chiliad Plaza (part of the missile hatch from the Doomsday Heist DLC) when enabling online maps (enabled online maps are still unsupported)
-Removed some props from the town that were scattered around the map - hopefully this fixes some crashes
-Made Chiliad Town Sheriff Office, 24/7 minimarket and the vanilla house on the north-west side of Chiliad Town standalone entities so they won't conflict with any other mod editing their vanilla counterpart
-Built a new railing on Chiliad Plaza (Mt. Chiliad summit)
-Minor fixes and improvements on the town and the main plaza bar
⚠KNOWN ISSUES:
- CAN'T BE CURRENTLY USED WITH "ONLINE MAPS" ENABLED (not compatible with mods like Open All Interiors)- enabling mp maps makes every prop disappear, leaving only the terrain
- Some minor issues with traffic paths, especially on intersections and on the Chiliad Plaza parking lot
- I tried to check everything, but since this is a big work I have surely missed something!
🔁COMPATIBILITY:
- ✔Compatible with Forests of San Andreas: Revised!
- ⚠Some players reported crash issues when reaching the town: this probably isn't directly related to this mod, but rather to some other mods conflicting with this one.

are you planning on making this mod compatible with the vegetation mods? i have forest mods and the trees are through the bottom half of the road. other than that this mod is crazy bro 🔥🔥planning on making some clips on this map soon

@BobbyDaBuilder there is a vegetation mod compatible with this mod however may not be the same version you use; it is not up to Danix or map creators, to make other mods compatible, it's the other way around.

can you pls figure out why it crashes when you drive into the city someone has already asked and they havnt gotten an answer and im havin the same problem id appreciate if someone can find a solution

I have changed my mind. The mod is better then it looks on the screenshot: 5 Stars! Thanks for that. Very nice map with a good amount of quality and the idea is fantastic. Really fills up what is lacking in the V map

@DANIX, I wish you could continue updating this one.. your work is super awesome for drifts.. it is very sad that some A**hole on this planet is stealing this master piece., definitely a 5/5.
had a few questions but I see you dropped mic (perfectly understandable) this map worked at first but now I'm experiencing the same issues of the game crushing when you get close to town (at the top, gta version 1.02372.0 Tuners dlc)

Due to some people selling this mod without any right or authorization from me, I've decided, at least for the time being, to stop updating and expanding it. No further updates will be released anytime soon (maybe ever).
There is no point for me to work on a totally free project, just to see it sold by unhautorized people.
My currently available mods will remain available for free on the official channels (my GTA5-Mods.com page and my Nexus Mod Page - link in the description). Please don't ask to update/expand it. I hope you'll keep enjoying it as it is.
